WELCOME TO EL CAMPO COUNTRY LODGE
El Campo is set in a beautiful rural location in Franklin’s Drury Hills. A short 30 minute drive to either Auckland City or Auckland International Airport, this strategic spot is also just minutes off the Southern motorway for those heading South.
El Campo is Spanish for “The Countryside” and your hosts are The Camp Family.
The lodge is a large family home that has been built with a separate bedsit guest suite with private entry that is able to be closed off by a large solid cavity slider, so your privacy is maintained and a continental breakfast will be served to your room.
The Maketu Stream (also known as Whiskey Creek) runs through the property and boasts a spectacular waterfall and swimming hole that you can climb down to. Large stands of native bush are great for a stroll, or just visit the cows, pigs and chickens.
Situated two minutes off the Ramarama motorway exit 30 minutes South of Auckland City, this rural escape is so convenient and yet so private and secluded and yet it only takes 25 minutes to get to Auckland airport.
